Grille 401 Las Olas Review

Grille 401 Las Olas Review

Grille 401 on Fort Lauderdale's famed Las Olas Blvd. is off to a good start.  Taking over the location once occupied by Rare and Bova Prime, Grille 401 recently wrapped up a million dollar renovation and lives up to the hyped fan fare.

Using locally sourced ingredients when available, Grille 401 satisfied my urges for a lunch time steak.  The grilled skirt steak came out just the way I ordered it - medium rare - and was well seasoned.  And at $25, the steak hit in the comfort zone of my Las Olas lunch time budget.

When she wasn't grabbing at pieces of my skirt steak, my wife thoroughly enjoyed her seared tuna salad.  Prepared beautifully and cooked rare, it was a great lunch time choice.

While there are plenty of lunch time choices downtown and in the Las Olas area, Grille 401 made a great impression on us and we'll certainly be back.
